Arts and Crafts for Kids?

Standard

Hello!

I am trying to see if there is enough interest for a general arts and crafts class for youth on Thursdays after school, 3:30-5:00.

Would your child attend?

Would you pay $10 per class?

How old is your child?

Any other comments?

Thank you!!

Polly

Hello!

I am pleased to say that the Drink and Dabble for this Friday has filled up.  If you want to paint with us, and didn’t get into this class, there is another Drink and Dabble–Peacock Feather Abstract for Friday, February 27.

The other exciting news is the Rolled Paper Art class with Madison Artist, Brooke Sutter on Thursday, February 19.  She will teach us her fun technique. Check out her work HERE.

For all of you who want to know more about Zentangles, we will have another class with Greer Deneen on Friday, February 6 at 6:30 PM.  You can make cool Valentines!!  We will supply the paper and pens, unless you have a favorite thin-line permanent marer you would like to bring.

If you love Zentangles and want to keep playing with them and learning more patterns, please come to the Zentangle Open Studio on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of each month!

And, our cool new neighbor, BaseCamp, has opened!  They have delicious food, coffee, and a lovely community room.  It’s a WONDERFUL place to hang out and eat before or after class!!

Art Journaling Is
Art Journaling Is…

Saturday Mornings in February (Feb. 1, 8, 15, 22) 9:00-11:00–Art Journaling Workshop

Create a personal journal out of an old book with the guidance of the fabulously creative Jacqueline Holmes. Jacqueline, an artist and teacher, has led students and teachers through the art journaling experience. We will play with paint, glue, Mod Podge, pens, scissors, and more.
Part of the journal pages will include a style of painting called Sequencing, a technique that originated at the River Gallery School of Art in Brattleboro, VT, where Jacqueline studied. It is a creative painting technique that helps us learn to overcome anything that may get in the way of the creative process.
