Shenanigans and Wild Rumpus Circus

Page

Shenanigans has been working with the Wild Rumpus Circus to create The Wild Rumpus World Circus!  We travel to schools, senior centers, museums, clubs, and other recreational facilities to present workshops and/or presentations on stilt dancing, masks, clowning, and circus arts in various parts of the world!

Marcia Miquelon and Elly Craig dance on stilts for a crowd of students, teachers, and community members at Mazomanie Elementary School.

Shenanigans is involved in various aspects: as a fiscal agent for the grant funding process, as production help (aka “roadies”), and as the creator of the Wild Rumpus Resource Guide!

Elly Craig performs on Cyr Wheel.

This project is supported by Dane Arts with additional funds from the Endres Mfg. Company Foundation, The Evjue Foundation, Inc., charitable arm of The Capital Times, the W. Jerome Frautschi Foundation, and the Pleasant T. Rowland Foundation.
